Jianqing Chang is currently the VP of Drug Regulatory Policy with Hangzhou Tigermed Consulting Co., Ltd. Before joining Tigermed in 2013, Jianqing worked with the R&D-based Pharmaceutical Association Committee (RDPAC) as Director – Drug Regulatory Science for 5 years with responsibilities of advocacy, working group leadership and project management in the areas of drug R&D, regulatory, clinical trials and medical affairs.
During 1995 - 2007, Jianqing worked with Schering Pharmaceutical Ltd, where she lead the regulatory affairs and Beijing Branch. Earlier in her career, Jianqing held key regulatory and medical affairs positions with several multinational drug companies, they were Schering-Plough (1992-1994), Sterling Health (1994 – 1995), SmithKline Beecham(1995).
Jianqing is a medical doctor by training. Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry she spent one year as a clinical psychiatrist.
Jianqing obtained her bachelor degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and her master degree from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Science.
