Company Overview
The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center offers everything entrepreneurs need to develop ideas and grow their companies. With access to a wide array of laboratory supplies and shared equipment and resources, scientists can start working the day they become a member. Managed by the Baruch S. Blumberg Institute and led by a board appointed by the Hepatitis B Foundation, the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center is home to over 40 small to mid-size science, research, and pharmaceutical companies.
Our Center opened in August 2006 as a place of discovery, education and job creation. Funded in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center seeks to advance biotechnology in Bucks County and the surrounding region, maximize synergies between nonprofit scientists and their commercial colleagues, and launch new ideas and discoveries that will make a difference.
