The Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Promotion Office (BPIPO) is a government organization under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan's government. It is assigned by Taiwan's government to serve as the single contact window for Taiwan's biomedical industries, which include applied biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device. BPIPO provides one-stop service for anyone in the world who needs information or assistances for Taiwan's biomedical industries. For example, BPIPO provides assistances for matters related to financial supports (both government and private investments, tax benefits, stock listings); personnel training and recruitment; collaboration opportunities/strategic alliances (R&D, technology transfer, manufacturing, commercialization, marketing, and sales); administrative, governmental, and regulatory issues. BPIPO have two major missions. One is to promote the development of Taiwan's biomedical industries. Two is to be the world's best partner, helping everyone to explore any collaboration opportunities with Taiwan's biomedical industries.
