bio2018special programs

This year’s convention theme is: It Starts with One. In the intensely innovative biotechnology space, one meeting, one interaction, one study, one partnership, one discovery, or one presentation can change the trajectory of progress. The evolution of biotechnology has undoubtedly changed the threat landscape, and the U.S. Government must continue to prepare to rapidly respond to unanticipated threats. Organization is the critical component here, and a collaborative approach is needed to define our current state, fill technology gaps, and systematize the capabilities to enable a national rapid response system. It is important that the medical countermeasure development community joins together to voice this critical need to our respective leadership and to senior national security staff. In line with this year’s convention theme, it only takes one: your presentation, your participation, your voice can change the trajectory of progress!
