Patient engagement, although highly promoted across many health sectors, often lacks a clear definition and methodology in all of these promoted sectors. This session will illustrate how pharmaceutical companies instill patient engagement structures into their organizations. Attendees will learn tools that are available for use, the structures in which they are most successful, modern barriers to patient engagement and sustaining high quality engagement across disease spectrums. The panel will consist of representatives from both patient advocacy organizations and the pharmaceutical industry.
